Belgrade Coffee Shop @ Tube

The new compilation of Belgrade Coffee Shop 2010 is released, as in previous years compilation  presents new achievements in the field of contemporary electronic music, with accent on variations of house music. Presents representative examples parallel with global and local scene: talented new producers such as Nicolas Jaar (Brooklyn, New York) or Kink (Sofia), indie-pop to neo-disco arrangement of London duo Mock & Toof, stylistic consistency in deep house leaders in this genre Cobblestone Jazz and Martin Buttrich and six equally exciting and stylistically diverse songs that are exclusive to this release prepared by local authors Marko Nastic, Duo Syndicate, Dejan Milicevic, Mistakemistake, Regen and Petkovski (Dj Petko). The CD is from 22.11. on sale in all well stocked music stores (B92 shop, MultiDallas Music Shop – former Mammoth store, bookstore Volcano).
The special version with a selection of exclusive tracks by local producers BELGRADE COFFEE SHOP 2010 will be on 29.11. in the form of digital editions and you can find it on http://www.beatport.com, which is site well known to funs of undergraund electronic sound.
Promotion of compilation Belgrade Coffee Shop took place in the club The Tube on the 10th of December, for  the music were in charge: band Mistake Mistake, Petrovski, Dejan Milicevic and Vlada Janjic (author of compilation). For those not familiar with club The Tube its located at Simina Street No.21 (entrance from Dobračina street) that would mean in the very heart of the city. I can say that The Tube is the best Belgrade club.Works three days a week, Thursdays are reserved for concerts and drum & bass performances, on Fridays (my favorite day) for undergraund sounds most tech-house and usually every other week world famous performing artists from that musical sphere are playing. This season the best impression I had was a party where were playing: German producer Steve Bug, techno music icon Derrick May and Mobil party wich was more than excellent. Saturday is the day reserved for a little more commercial house, local djs are playing: Pookie, Peppe, Floyd and the others. So, for fans of more commercial sound  is best not to make the crowd on the dance floor on Fridays and go Saturday to the Tube. Club can accommodate 500 people. Reminiscent of the clubs in Berlin. Opened in year 2008. It was designed by architect George Gec. With the help of clearly defined lines, concrete and wood dance floor (23 meters long) He had created a real haven for clubbers in Belgrade. People in the club are diverse from 18 to 50 years, there is no dress code. U can dress casul if you prefer  but also a fancy outfit option is always welcome.
At the end I can only say  I JUST LOVE THE TUBE !!!!!!
