New kid on the Block: Alexandar LIo

One of the aims of ExploringBelgrade blog is to support and present young enthusiastic new talents. For now  They are not that much popular, but have potential for becoming a real artist in further future. In time and place or should I better say state where We live there is too much young people wasting time, not doing anything useful. Here it’s common to hate and denigrate other people’s work, so I decided to take the other side and support some quality things and artists. Couple of mounts ago I wrote one column about talented DJ/Producer  Lea Dobricic. Since then Her career is becoming more succesful and She is spinning in clubs and bars all over the state. We are happy for Her of course.

This time I will present somebody else. His name is Aleksandar Dimitrijevic aka Alexandar LIo. He was born in 1991. Works as DJ/Producer/Remixer. He finished DJ Academy in Belgrade where He met and learn from the well-known Serbian DJs, as: Pookie and Peppe and many others. Alexandar performed on events such as: Beer Fest, Time2Test, Green Party in Belgrade. Also, He performed in bars and clubs as  Mamolo and Billabong and the others.

Alexandar played music next to well-known names as: DJ Mistake (Selected Rec,Cube Art), Ana Nikolic & Milica Witchy , Alen Milivojevic (Pornographic.rec,1605), Mihajlo K (Hear It.Feel It.Move It), M De Miguel (Technolastics Asphixia Group / Barcelona ,Spain) , Rebent (Technolastics Asphixia Group / Barcelona,Spain) , Alexus, Nemanja Godjevac (Cosmic Pigs) Alexanda Antrax Dimitrijevic, Lea Dobricic (Bosphorus Underground).

Alex is a city boy, very talkative and friendly. He is visiting bars and clubs in Belgrade on regular basis so it’s very easy to meet Him. Favorite music genders are Techno, Minimal, Tech and Deep House. His mixes present a mixture of all this genders. Some of Them He presented on a few radio shows.
